The story

SHFT was born in 2020, one late night, with a Black & Mild in hand, Mickey sitting in her car, on the phone with Tommy Will.

The two of us have spent 20+ years mastering our craft. We were creating faster than the industry could keep up, so we created SHFT as a way to release music on our own terms. We dropped 52 singles in one year, every Sunday, created ways for fans to invest in the music, and released four remix albums with producers from our network. We still collaborate today, most recently on “Coast Is Clear,” produced by Baron Davis and Nishan Murrell. Beyond our own work, we now use what we’ve learned across music, sync, and mastery to support independent artists.
